Round Britain Rally

The Round Britain Rally (RBR) was re-invented and restarted by Dave-the-Disorganiser (Hancock) 19 years ago after it had been laid up for some time. Dave and his (very patient - some would say long suffering!?) wife Dora tirelessly research the locations, clues and get together all of the details of the combatants -Oops sorry!- participants of the RBR, they then send them out in a timely fashion for us to research a couple of weeks before the start date -1st April.
This has now become a family business since Dave & Dora's Son Jamie, & Daughter Bethany, came along and started to help!

Along with the advent of the Internet and Graham Flint 'embracing' this new technology came www.roundbritainrally.co.uk which includes a forum on which has blossomed into a busy community of like minded bikers with a passion for riding their bikes long distances and touring around Mainland Great Britain over 5 months of the British 'Summer'.
This has also led to the developement -in addition to the RBR- of some social 'get togethers' (G2G's) which take place at;

Occationally we get together 'on spec' for a few days, this year (2011) we met at Cheddar Campsite for a week-end

For more information about the rally go to the website and everything you need to know (and a application form) is there.
